Southend High School for Girls.
Southend High School for Girls is a friendly, welcoming environment in which to work where teaching and learning envelops both staff and students alike.

We actively devolve responsibility and therefore give developmental opportunities to all levels of staff. Our policy with regard to learning opportunities can be provided on request.
We have an active induction system for all staff and the induction handbook is published here.
We are a caring organisation and provide not only good pension schemes but childcare vouchers and access to a fitness suite before and after school.
There are numerous visits to theatres and activities such as Duke of Edinburgh in which staff participation is actively encouraged.
